So if you hang out here often, you might remember my post about having to put my Boxer dog to sleep. A tough time for sure! So not long after that I went into the hospital for surgery and found myself at home a few weeks ago, a little bored and I ended up on YouTube. I got to watching all these videos of Boxers doing things that were funny, cute, a little crazy and suddenly, once again, I was missing that dog. So I made a decision that maybe it might be time to find another Boxer. Yesterday, my wife and I drove about 60 miles and brought home a real sweetheart! Her name is Sadie! a four year old female that although loving is going to have to learn some manners. So I got her home, showed her the backyard, the house, gave her a bath, took her on a loooonnnnggggg walk, fed her, and went to bed. Let me clarify . . . . . I went to bed. She decided it was play time! I woke up a couple of times and she was chewing some things out of a toy box I set up for her. But she woke me up about 3:30 this morning, and added to that pile of toys were my brand new shoes, and a remote control.
What was I thinking??
