The Nexus S - An Interesting day for Android Fans

nexuss1Rumors were that Google would push out it's next version of Android to Developers today. It's getting late, and that hasn't happened.  But that isn't to say that nothing around Android or Gingerbread hasn't happened today. It all started when Phandroid spotted a Best Buy pre-order page for something called the Nexus S. Not long after that, Engadget produced some pretty good pictures. So what do we know?

It's got an LED Flash next to the camera, a front facing camera, and a lot of Samsung Galaxy S styling. No word on Specs, or if this really is a device worthy of the Google Nexus Namesake. With Best Buy as a distributor and T-mobile's network, let's hope that the Google Sales Model of selling unlocked is still part of the Nexus Vision. The Original Nexus was pushing some pretty sweet limits. Let's hope this next one is at least as innovative.

About Me

I'm a middle aged guy who finds much pleasure in today's technology. When I find a gem, or figure something out, I put it here in this site. When time allows, I enjoy camping with my wife. I love the outdoors and live in an area where I get to experience all 4 seasons in all their glory. I always keep a camera handy, so expect to see those adventures documented here as well.
