Hero! Navy Seals

It's been a while since I have documented a hero here on this site. But given the events of the last day, I figured it was time to do just that! The News has been abuzz for close to 20 hours as of this writing. People have been celebrating in the streets of New York and Washington, DC. Osama Bin Laden is dead! I'm sure there was lots of planning. Lots of digging, and searching. Boring, thankless groundwork.  But it was about 25 Navy Seals who went to do the dirty work!

"We are reminded that we are fortunate to have Americans who dedicate their lives to protecting ours," We may not always know their names, we may not always know their stories, but they are there every day on the front lines of freedom and we are truly blessed." Said President Obama

Mr. President, I am in total agreement with your statement! We as Americans can argue about whether death was the correct answer. We can debate the merits of Christianity, Politics, Islam, etc. But it was a group of Patriots who were called upon to put Country before self, and the job was performed flawlessly. They do these tasks daily! This one just happened to be to go get the most wanted man in the free world. I'm glad that men and women like the Navy Seals 6 Team exist! Thank you Seals

About Me

I'm a middle aged guy who finds much pleasure in today's technology. When I find a gem, or figure something out, I put it here in this site. When time allows, I enjoy camping with my wife. I love the outdoors and live in an area where I get to experience all 4 seasons in all their glory. I always keep a camera handy, so expect to see those adventures documented here as well.
